We also offer specialized credentials, including MassDOT Prequalification in Surveying and Wetland Science, OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Training and MBTA and AMTRAK Contractor Safety Training.
We have contributed our skills to a myriad of project types: residential, commercial and retail development, infrastructure, utilities and energy, multi-unit housing; hospitals, assisted-care facilities and medical buildings, school and university improvements and Superfund, hazardous waste and landfill sites.
DESCRIPTION:
This strategic position will focus on the understanding of the organizational business needs. It will be responsible for the creation and implementation of recruitment strategies and will partner with hiring managers to support all hiring initiatives. The Talent Recruiter will creatively source, assess and select qualified applicants to be referred as candidates for open searches including networking and cultivating a talent pipeline. The Talent Recruiter will be responsible for finding extraordinary hidden talent through unconventional means while establishing relationships with key talent within a professional network while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full cycle recruiting with a strong focus on sourcing and partnering with Hancock’s Hiring Managers in diverse disciplines.
- Work on a daily basis to define and build a strong, sustainable talent acquisition process.
- Recruiting for and closing passive candidates for both technical and non-technical roles.
- Sourcing of top caliber professionals - sourcing is a key component of success here.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management.
- Partner closely and work collaboratively with Hancock’s Hiring Managers to fulfill open positions.
- Thoroughly evaluate candidates to check personal qualifications against job requirements; essentially "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation"
- Conduct pre-screens and efficiently move candidates through our process Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
- Review resumes, interview candidates, and develop diverse slates of candidates and finalists for manager consideration.
- Manage and update recruitment websites to include: company website, indeed, handshake, etc.
- Manage recruitment advertisements.
- Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding the recruitment process.
- Conduct appropriate reference and background checks.
- Produce offer letters
- Accurately communicate important employment information during the delivery and negotiation of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation).
- Work on special projects and recruiting initiatives that raise the bar on talent acquisition for the organization.
- Manage and work closely with the Hancock Recruitment Committee.
- Manager and participate in Career Fairs.
- Manage outsourced recruiters
- Other duties assigned.
QUALIFICIATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years related work experience required.
- Superior organizational skills
- Public speaking
- Ability to run effective meetings
- Experience with building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
- Effective utilization of a variety of assessment skills including resume review, behavioral interviewing and reference screening.
- Proven ability to appropriately assess and maintain discretion in confidential situations.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.

SCHEDULE(S): M-F; Flexible Schedule – Full-time / Part-time possible
SALARY: $55,000-70,000
