As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of our dental team, providing essential support to dentists and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and techniques
- Ability to record patient information
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health
