Position Type: Long term contract role with potential extensions(6 months to begin with)

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a servant-leader for our development team, facilitating Agile practices and helping the team deliver high-quality work efficiently. You will act as a coach, mentor, and champion of the Scrum framework, removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach and guide the development team, product owner, and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices
- Identify and remove impediments that block the team's progress
- Shield the team from external distractions and scope creep
- Track and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and key metrics to stakeholders
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog
- Support the organization in its broader Agile transformation efforts
- Facilitate conflict resolution within the team in a constructive and positive manner
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile facilitation role
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (PSM I/II, SAFe SM)
- Solid understanding of the Scrum framework, Agile principles, and software development life cycles
- Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to identify and remove blockers and manage team dynamics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS
- Background in software development or a technical discipline
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams
