Position Overview:
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) plays a key role in supporting clients throughout their treatment journey in our Primary Mental Health Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. The BHT provides direct client support, ensures the safety and structure of the environment, and assists the clinical team in facilitating effective treatment services.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:00pm - 8:30pm, Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and support to clients during program hours, ensuring safety and adherence to facility guidelines.
- Assist with transportation of clients to and from the facility, appointments, or community activities (valid driver’s license required).
- Monitor client behavior and document observations in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in accordance with company standards.
- Support clinical staff in group facilitation and encourage client participation in therapeutic activities.
- Conduct regular wellness and room checks to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Assist in crisis intervention under supervision, following established protocols.
- Help maintain cleanliness and order in the facility.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and supervision sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in behavioral health treatment or working with individuals with mental health conditions preferred, but not required.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to model appropriate behavior and boundaries.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
