We are a growing construction and real estate development company based in Hudson, MA. We specialize in single-family homes, rental properties, and multi-phase condominium developments. We are looking for a highly organized and professional Construction Administrator to keep our projects running smoothly from the back office.
Role Summary
The Construction Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our construction projects. You will act as the administrative backbone for our multi-phase condominium builds, single-family home projects, and rental properties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly professional, and comfortable managing documentation, subcontractor compliance, and general office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support: Assist with the coordination and building processes for multi-phase condominium developments, ensuring project teams have the administrative support they need.
- Compliance & Insurance Tracking: Diligently track and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) from all subcontractors to ensure active compliance.
- Property Management Support: Maintain and update insurance requirements and related documentation for our portfolio of single-family homes and rental properties.
- Data & Record Management: Organize and maintain highly detailed information, blueprints, and records specific to the condominium units.
- Office Administration: Perform various general office duties, including filing, data entry, managing correspondence, and processing project-related paperwork.
- Professional Communication: Serve as a professional, welcoming point of contact for internal team members, subcontractors, vendors, and clients, ensuring all interactions reflect well on the company.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction, real estate, or property management industries.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a diverse range of people, from tradespeople to corporate clients.
- Strong organizational skills and an exceptional eye for detail, particularly when managing compliance documents and project specifications.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Word) and the ability to learn construction management or document tracking software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
