GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
(Staff Assistant, 10-month) will assist in developing, implementing, and
managing sport-specific year-round strength and conditioning programs
for multiple intercollegiate teams, support operation of the Landry
Fitness Center, conduct athlete testing and data tracking, supervise and
motivate student athletes and interns, collaborate with coaches and
athletic trainers, maintain equipment, and contribute to student-athlete

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor?s degree required. - At least
one certification from a nationally recognized strength & conditioning
organization (e.g., NSCA-CSCS, CSCCa-SCCC). - Current CPR/AED
certification. - Experience and strong working knowledge of exercise
techniques for a variety of intercollegiate athletes. - Proficiency in
teaching lifting techniques. - Ability to design, implement, and
document strength & conditioning programs and conduct performance
testing. - Ability to supervise and motivate student athletes; excellent
interpersonal and organizational skills. - Ability to perform duties
with or without reasonable accommodations. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -
