Our retail client is seeking two Junior Graphic Designers to assist their Global Creative Studio team with production of global and regional digital marketing kits. This teammate must be an organized, dependable individual who is great at collaboration, communication, and needs to be able to multi-task overlapping projects while staying on deadlines. The candidate will be taking creative direction & feedback often, from several teammates, and quick / efficient turnaround will be expected. Ideal candidate would be creative, flexible, self-directed and a problem solver with attention to detail, used to working in a busy design department.
This is truly a production job - there will not be a lot of original artwork created. Friendliness, no ego, and grace under pressure soft skills a must for this position.
This role is 40 hrs / week, 6-12 months, and hybrid (3 days per week onsite in Boston)
Work Performed:
Under the direction of Lead Designers or the Creative Director, the Junior Graphic Designer will execute a variety of creative projects (for example, global and regional emails, site components, social, affiliate banners, OOH and occasionally print advertising). They will be expected to handle several projects at a time and keep the Lead Designer & Global Ops Coordinator informed of any issues that may arise. Keeping a high level of creative output while holding to deadlines is a must.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor degree in design
- 2+ years work experience creating and designing special projects
- Proven knowledge and success in working across a variety of formats. In addition to design, typical duties include routing creative for approvals, following up often to keep deadlines on track, and preparing and uploading final working files to our DAM system.
- This person should have advanced knowledge of Figma, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Prior experience working in a project workflow management app such as Asana or ProWorkflow is preferred.
- Decision-Making Authority: Indicate level of discretion or authority allowed under company policies, procedures, and practices. The Junior Graphic Designer candidate will get direction from a Lead
- Designer and does not have the authority to make independent decisions on artwork.
- Keeping consistent with brand guidelines is a must.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
