The Role
The Senior Director, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Alliance Management, will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the seamless execution of supply chain operations and manufacturing collaborations for Damora. This role encompasses the strategic and operational leadership required for technical transfer, process validation, clinical supply management, and launch preparation. The incumbant will additionally act as the primary point of contact for financial forecasting, and contractual matters while supporting product lifecycle and regulatory readiness.
What You'll Do
Alliance Management:
- Serve as the single point of contact for all analytical, manufacturing, warehousing, and supply chain collaborations.
- Oversee execution of signed contracts, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for all analytical, manufacturing, warehousing, and supply chain CDMOs.
- Provide 24-month manufacturing forecasts with monthly progress updates on collaborative activities.
- Address and escalate manufacturing or quality issues proactively driving resolution with our collaborations.
- Maintain a structured gap assessment to track changes in manufacturing processes and analytical testing for proactive management.
- Manage and maintain financial forecast for Technical Operations.
Supply Chain Leadership:
- Lead short- and mid-term forecasting of clinical demand and supply.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations and external suppliers/CMOs to maintain adequate inventory levels and prevent supply disruptions.
- Implement or enhance tools to maintain up-to-date demand and supply tracking. Collaborates with Clinical Operations to maintain sufficient clinical supply.
- Monitor and coordinate release activities across supply chain stakeholders, including Drug Substance (DS), Drug Product (DP), labeling and packaging (L&P), and testing entities.
- Manages the inventory and shipment logistics of all Damora product and associated samples.
- Provides recommendations on packaging design and distribution. Plans and manages execution of initial supplies and resupplies for assigned studies. Designs and implements strategic plans to supply study drug to complex global clinical trials using sound supply chain techniques
- Acts as IRT System Lead, supports vendor selection activities, gathers and provides input into user requirement specifications of IRT management module(s)
- Reviews IRT strategy to ensure it supports the strategic supply plans and ensures that IRT is settings are adjusted to optimize the supply chain
- Leverages the inventory management capabilities of the IRT to appropriately manage studies
- Establish and lead ES&OP cycles to ensure launch readiness and standardize reporting for marketing and commercial teams.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or another relevant field; advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of experience in supply chain and manufacturing within the biotech/pharma industry.
- Proven track record in alliance management and supply chain management.
- Experience in regulatory submissions, BLA preparation, and post-approval launch activities.
- Strong leadership capabilities in managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting with cross-functional dependencies.
- Proven expertise in managing supply chain and manufacturing collaborations.
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting and forecasting.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Deep knowledge of technical transfer processes and regulatory submission requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and global team environments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
