Irish Home Healthcare Agency established 1993 is in search of a Scheduling Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this position would fit a variety of highly specific requirements . A strong administrative background is essential, in addition to someone who can think and operate in an organized manner, work independently to accomplish tasks, thrive in what can be a very fast paced environment and follow through on objectives to their logical conclusion.
A pleasant and patient phone demeanor is imperative as we are valued by our clients for the very specialized attention we give them.
The duties of a scheduling coordinator include, but are not limited to;
- Serve as point of contact for all scheduling concerns from clients and caregivers
- Take responsibility in ensuring that all shifts and needs are covered with the appropriate staff
- Report all caregiver hours properly on the schedule so that payroll and billing are accurate
- Act with case managers to coordinate care plans and caregiver schedules
- Consider costs of overtime when building schedules and assigning shifts
- Communicate regularly with all staff and clients regarding assignments and issues
- Strengthen and foster good relationships with all company clients, families, caregivers and Assisted Living Facilities.
- Function as a representative of the company
- Ensure that the Operational Standards and Guidelines are being met by caregivers working with clients
- Negotiating and problem-solving on a daily basis
- Work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Report any safety or procedural infractions as they occur
- General Office Administrative functions as needed
- Other duties as necessary
