Position Overview
The Weston Public Schools is seeking to hire a Night Custodian one for Country Elementary School School. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 1:30-10:00 p.m., reporting to the Building Principal and the Director of Facilities. About the Weston Public Schools
The Weston Public Schools enrolls approximately 2,000 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school district includes a high school for grades 9-12, a middle school for grades 6-8, an upper elementary school for grades 4-5, and two lower elementary schools for pre-kindergarten through grade 3. Since 1967, Weston has participated in METCO (Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity) - a voluntary school integration program that places Boston residents in suburban schools. The Weston METCO program enrolls approximately 160 students (K-12).
Key Responsibilities
- Embrace the diversity of the Weston Public Schools by fostering an environment of respect and inclusion
- Perform routine and specialized cleaning to the school building
- Maintain grounds adjacent to the school building, including the playground
- Make minor repairs
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, administrators, students, and families
- Other duties as assigned

Compensation
The compensation for the Night Custodian will be between $22.55 to $26.81 per hour (dependent on related experience). The Night Custodian will also receive a $1.50 per hour evening shift differential. Additionally, the Weston Public Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package, including employer sponsored health insurance, paid time off, and participation in the Middlesex County Retirement System.
