EXPERIENCED COOK/KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER
PINK CARROT LOCATIONS: CHESTNUT HILL, BACK BAY, NORTH END
Pink Carrot is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, energetic, and dependable Cook to join our team full-time. This position may be based at one location or split between multiple locations depending on business needs.
Pink Carrot is a fast-paced healthy eats café focused on clean eating, fresh ingredients, exceptional customer experiences, and creating a positive work environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Prepare and execute menu items consistently and efficiently according to Pink Carrot standards
• Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with health and sanitation regulations
• Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service at all times
• Assist with receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, and monitoring product levels
• Communicate effectively with team members and management throughout each shift
• Support café operations during busy service periods and work efficiently under pressure
• Follow recipes, prep lists, and daily production schedules
• Help reduce waste and maintain proper food storage procedures
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as needed
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace culture
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 3 years of professional cooking experience
• Experience working in high-volume restaurants, cafés, fast-casual concepts, or health-focused kitchens preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively during busy periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
• Inventory management experience is a plus
• Food safety certification is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Comfortable performing repetitive kitchen tasks and moving throughout the café during service
