Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct routine janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting high-touch areas
- Maintain cleanliness of commercial and industrial spaces by executing specialized cleaning tasks such as floor buffing and carpet cleaning
- Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance, ensuring all areas are safe, sanitary, and well-organized
- Support light maintenance activities like minor repairs or painting as needed to uphold facility standards
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial environments
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
