About Denali Growth Partners
Denali Growth Partners is a growth equity firm partnering with exceptional founders building industry-defining companies. We take a thesis-driven approach to investing, combining deep sector expertise with disciplined sourcing to identify opportunities before they become obvious to the market.
At DGP, analysts aren't just supporting deals—they're finding them. We believe sourcing is a skill that can be mastered, and that the analysts who excel at it today become the investment leaders of tomorrow.
About the Role
Denali Growth Partners is seeking exceptional recent graduates to join our structured Analyst Program—a unique opportunity to build a career at the intersection of deal sourcing, market analysis, and investment strategy.
This isn't a traditional analyst role. You'll be on the front lines of dealmaking from day one, learning to identify promising companies, engage with founders, and ultimately source investments that shape our portfolio. Over 2-3 years, you'll progress from sourcing excellence to analytical depth, with a clear pathway to becoming an Associate or pursuing opportunities within our portfolio companies.
What You'll Do
Phase 1: Build Your Sourcing Foundation
- Identify and engage with founders and management teams across target sectors
- Conduct market mapping and maintain our deal pipeline
- Draft opportunity summaries and investment snapshots
- Develop thematic expertise aligned with our investment priorities
Phase 2: Bridge Sourcing to Analysis
- Deepen sector knowledge and participate in early-stage diligence
- Conduct market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and financial modeling
- Maintain independent sourcing while supporting deal evaluation
Phase 3: Prepare for Associate-Level Impact
- Lead sourcing efforts within assigned industry verticals
- Participate end-to-end in live deals, from sourcing to investment committee materials
- Mentor incoming analysts and contribute to firm strategy
Who You Are
- Recent graduate (Bachelor's or Master's degree) with genuine interest in entrepreneurship and growth-stage investing
- Exceptional communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Intellectually curious and comfortable with ambiguity
- Results-driven with a strong work ethic and hunger to learn
- Educational background in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Science, or related fields is a plus, but not required
- Previous internship or project experience in investing, consulting, or startups is valued but not essential
Why This Program is Different
Results-Driven Advancement: Your progression is based on demonstrated impact—specifically, sourcing closed investments—not just time served.
What You'll Gain
By the end of the program, you'll have:
- Deep origination and market analysis capabilities
- Proficiency in financial modeling, diligence, and investment evaluation
- Direct contribution to successful investments
- A powerful network across the growth equity ecosystem
- Clear preparation for your next career move
Our Commitment
We invest in your growth as seriously as we invest in companies. You'll receive structured training, regular feedback, and increasing responsibility as you demonstrate results. Performance matters more than pedigree—we're looking for people who are hungry to learn, willing to hustle, and excited to build something meaningful.
