We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive operations professional to help keep our inventory, purchasing, and product data running smoothly as we grow. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring products are accurately tracked, well-stocked, and launch-ready across multiple channels. You'll work closely with sales, marketing, and warehouse partners to support tradeshows, product launches, and key accounts, while using data and reporting to spot risks, improve processes, and drive smarter inventory decisions. Key Responsibilities{{:}}
Inventory Management & Reporting
- Perform inventory adjustments; research and reconcile discrepancies
- Manage inventory allocations for tradeshows, PR events, and special initiatives
- Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations and coordinate inter-warehouse transfers as needed
- Maintain daily inventory reports and dashboards
- Track and report key inventory metrics (including stockouts, excess inventory, and inventory turnover) to identify risks and opportunities
Purchasing & Forecasting
- Execute and monitor the purchasing process from end to end
- Place purchase orders with vendors and enter them into the company ERP, ensuring accuracy of quantities and pricing
- Maintain a centralized tracking document for all purchase orders and inbound shipments
- Monitor production output, transit timelines, and new product launch schedules
- Follow up on delays and communicate risks proactively
- Review receipts and verify delivered quantities against purchase orders
Sales Support
- Partner with the sales team to ensure tradeshow and key account samples are available by agreed deadlines
- Coordinate communication around product arrivals and key account inventory allocations
- Keep stakeholders informed of new product arrival dates and any delays impacting launches or shipments
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to understand upcoming promotions, product launches, and seasonal plans, and incorporate their impact into inventory and purchasing plans
Product Data Integrity
- Maintain product data files, ensuring all product attributes are complete and accurate
- Set up new products across ERP, warehouse portals, and forecasting tools
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of master SKU data, including product attributes and bundling configurations
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain operations; experience in a DTC or ecommerce environment preferred
- Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including data analysis and reporting
- Working knowledge of product lifecycle management and inventory classification methods (e.g., ABC analysis)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn; comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment
