Senior Financial Analyst in Marlborough, MA, supporting operations finance across production sites. In a hybrid role (4–5 days/week onsite with ad-hoc flexibility), you’ll partner with supply chain, operations, and leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 (DOE) + 5% bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Location: Primarily onsite in Marlborough, MA (local Boston-area candidates only, 4–5 days/week with occasional flexibility).

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting, KPIs, and performance metrics for sales and operations.
- Lead sales commission calculations and reconciliations for 30+ reps and channel partners.
- Build and maintain sales forecasts using advanced modeling tools; highlight risks and opportunities.
- Perform variance analysis on sales, margins, COGS, and expenses vs. budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Partner with department heads to develop annual sales compensation plans and track accruals.
- Conduct operational expense trend analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
- Create executive dashboards and ad hoc reports to support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with accounting and technical teams to enhance reporting tools and processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5–10 years in FP&A or financial analysis; manufacturing or instrumentation industry a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA a plus.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel modeling required; SAP, SAP BI, and Power BI experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of sales forecasting, commission structures, and P&L analysis.
- Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills – must “tell the story” behind the numbers.
- Mindset: Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and thrives under tight deadlines.
- Location: Local to the Marlborough/Boston area for primarily onsite work.
