Position Summary
Cambrian College’s Student Life Centre has an immediate need for two Hospitality Service Workers for 24 hours per week on a regular part-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare a range of meals from a pre-planned menu.
- Responsible for providing courteous, prompt, and efficient service to customers.
- Maintain accurate inventories and cash balances.
- Ensure cleaning, maintenance and sanitary standards are met.
Qualifications
Required:
- Secondary School Diploma as well as Food Handling and Smart Serve Certification. (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application)
- One year of restaurant, banquet, or institution experience in preparing, cooking, and serving meals in both large and small quantities.
- Energetic self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to balance several complex and ongoing tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism.
Required Information

- Educational documents
- WES/ICAS Equivalence if degrees/diplomas are from a Non-Canadian University
- Copy of Smart Serve Certificate
- Copy of Food Handling Certification.
