Position Summary
The
Digital Content Associate plays a key role on the Strategy team, which drives organizational alignment, fosters innovation, and elevates the experiences of our patients, staff, and communities. Reporting to the Director of Brand and Marketing, you’ll create compelling digital content that informs, empowers, and mobilizes diverse audiences across the Commonwealth. You will support both the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts (PPLM) and the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts (PPAF), contributing to work that advances sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative thinker with strong design and communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Your Day to Day:
- Develop and execute daily social media content for PPLM & PPAF platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, BlueSky)
- Create engaging written, visual, and multimedia content promoting health services, advocacy, and policy initiatives
- Collaborate across teams to produce branded materials such as fact sheets, educational graphics, and videos
- Manage website content for pplm.org and pplmvotes.org (drafting, editing, updating)
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including copywriting and asset creation
- Analyze digital engagement metrics and recommend improvements
- Maintain a digital asset library (photos, graphics, templates)
- Support digital strategies for events and advocacy campaigns
- Provide on-site support for community engagement and public events as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in digital design, content creation, marketing, or communications preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with social media management, email marketing, and digital advertising platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
