About the Role: As the first point of contact for our agency, the Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This individual will provide exceptional customer service, handle administrative tasks efficiently, and contribute to the smooth operation of our office.

Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30am to 4:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, offering assistance and directing them appropriately.
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally and efficiently, ensuring accurate message taking and transfer.
- Respond to general client inquiries using the agency management system, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly.
- Process client payments by depositing funds such as clients’ premium payments and carrier commissions via a digital check scanner
- Sort incoming agency and client mail, scan, and route to appropriate employees
- Coordinate paperwork with the registry of motor vehicles, including stamping Registration and Title Applications, submitting documents on behalf of employees and clients, and following up on requests.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming office environment.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by Agency Management
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in insurance or finance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Strong phone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Open to feedback and eager to learn.
- Friendly and collaborative personality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an insurance or finance company, with knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance products.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $33.75 (approximately $61,425 annually)
