Title: In vivo research associate, Immunology and Pharmacology
Job Summary
The PharmaEssentia Innovation Research Center is building a world-class new drug discovery team in Boston area. We are seeking a highly motivated in vivo research associate to support in vivo experiment (rodent), including MTD studies, Efficacy studies, PK/PD studies and tissue harvest. You will also be asked to maintain and expand cancer cell lines to support the in vivo tumor model studies and conduct hand-on dosing and procedure support for mice pharmacology studies. In addition, you may need to support all aspects of laboratory operation to maintain a highly productive vivarium/laboratory.

Our new research center, PharmaEssentia Innovation Research Center (PIRC), aims to leverage our current expertise in oncology and immunology therapeutic areas to identify and develop novel therapeutic opportunities. Therefore, we are recruiting talented scientists who have deep knowledge in immunology, translational science, bioinformatics and biologics platforms to develop novel drugs through disease-driving biology, novel technology in protein engineering, antibody discovery and new modalities.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities
- Hand-on execute subcutaneous tumor model studies from cancer cells expansion, implantation (in mice), tumor measurement, group randomization and administration of test articles.
- Hand-on support all mice pharmacology study procedures, including but not limiting to dosing and tissue harvest.
- Follow PIRC IACUC program/protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all animal procedures.
- Maintain and expand cancer cell lines for human xenograft tumor and mouse syngeneic tumor models.
- Ensure day-to-day animal welfare, environmental quality, supply logistics, work scheduling, training, and performance management of the animal caretaking team.
- Data process and graphing for the internal team update presentation.

- B.S. or higher degree in immunology, pharmaceutical sciences or related scientific field
