Our client, a fast-growing PE-backed global software company (Gartner Leader), is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their executive leadership team. This is a key hire as the company continues to scale internationally and mature its financial operations.
We’re looking for someone who is both strategic and hands-on. Someone who can work closely with the CEO and wider exec team to shape the company’s financial future, while also rolling up their sleeves to build and lead a high-performing finance function.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and board, helping to drive the company’s growth plans and long-term vision.
- Leading all aspects of finance from FP&A and reporting to accounting, tax, treasury, and compliance.
- Building out forecasting, budgeting, and performance frameworks that provide clarity and confidence as the business scales.
- Supporting international expansion and ensuring financial operations are fit-for-purpose across multiple markets.
- Playing a central role in future fundraising, M&A, or potential IPO planning - working closely with investors and external advisors.
- Developing a strong finance team and making sure systems and processes are scalable and efficient.
- Readying the company for an IPO or Exit at some point
- Providing clear, concise insight to support decision-making at all levels of the business.
What we’re looking for:
- A senior finance leader (CFO or equivalent) with experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Someone who has helped scale a business internationally and understands the nuances of global operations.
- Experience with investor relations, fundraising, or M&A activity.
- A deep understanding of SaaS metrics and how finance supports go-to-market success.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels - from board decks to budgeting spreadsheets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to influence at the highest level.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus, but not a requirement if you bring the right experience.
- If someone has been through an IPO or scaled revenues through the $100M ARR, $200M ARR, $300M ARR and beyond the this is a real bonus.
