The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Retail Convenience Stores will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with high-value retail convenience store customers. This role focuses on EG America Group ensuring customer satisfaction, optimizing sales performance, and ensuring consistent growth within EG eventually expanding to other chain customers. The KAM will serve as the primary point of contact, working closely with EG, initially with strong oversight and engagement with the Vice President of Chain to drive strategic initiatives, maximize operational effectiveness, and execution of the customer development plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Account Management
Serve as the main point of contact for retail convenience store customers, managing a portfolio of key accounts to ensure satisfaction, product availability, and growth. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Sales Strategy
Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for each key account to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve company objectives within the retail convenience store segment.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting
Work with internal teams to forecast new site development, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports.
Negotiation & Contract Management
Lead contract negotiations with retail partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company objectives. Monitor contract terms and ensure compliance.
Customer Support & Issue Resolution
Proactively address any customer concerns or issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence
Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the market.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Engagement
Work closely with operations, marketing, finance and supply chain teams to ensure successful openings, product launches, promotions, and campaigns. Collaborate with internal departments to address any customer service or operational challenges.
Budget & P&L Management
Oversee the financial aspects of key accounts, ensuring profitability and controlling costs ensuring maximum ROI.
Education
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development within the retail convenience store channel or related industries (e.g., FMCG, Consumer Goods, QSR).
Skills
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in CRM, Salesforce and MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of retail dynamics and convenience store operations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
