The Cove at Yarmouth Resort is seeking a qualified, reliable and detail-oriented individual to join the Front Desk team as a Full Time Night Auditor at our year-round timeshare resort.
We are searching for a candidate to work part time and year round, 40 hours a week. Shifts would be overnight from 11pm to 7am. Current shifts are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, off Wednesday and Thursday.
Night Audit experience or Guest Service/Hospitality experience is preferred, but not required.
Starting pay at $21.00/hour based on experience and performance.
Full time positions have benefits including paid time off, health and dental insurance, Simple IRA, discounted room rates and use of the facilities in the off-season (health club and pool).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Guest satisfaction.
2. Responsible for daily closing of transactions, general accounting, reports, and functions.
3. Posting of missing charges and balancing all daily transactions including the cash drawer.
4. Verify correct room rates.
5. Housekeeping report.
6. Room revenue report.
7. Daily revenue summary report.
8. Count the daily cash and make it ready for deposit.
9. Copy of all reports ready for the morning shifts.
10. Deliver wake-up call when applicable.
11. Responsible for assigned monies.
12. Handle guest complaints and problems in a courteous professional manner.
13. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
14. Proper attire (uniform) as directed.
15. Handle all telephone conversations in a professional and courteous manner.
16. Guest check-in and checkout.
17. Respect the rights and property of guests and employees.
18. Performance of other related duties as directed by the Front Desk Manager.
19. Duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Physical Requirements:
1. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with diverse groups of people and all levels of management.
2. Excellent verbal communication skills.
3. CLS experience.
4. Minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospitality/accounting related field.
5. Manual dexterity and coordination to safely perform the following: standing, bending, lifting, twisting, pushing and pulling and lifting up to 35 lbs.
6. Coordination and dexterity to walk at least 2 miles per day, including up and down stairs.
Working Conditions:
Hours worked may vary as to status of staffing, and overall operational needs. Attendance is expected when scheduled. A knowledge of all Resort and company policies in place or established during employment. Employees are expected to represent the Resort and Management in a professional and courteous manner at all times during their scheduled work shifts.
