Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic yard team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, customer service, and ensuring smooth product distribution processes. Duties
- Perform order picking with precision using equipment and other warehouse tools to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing deliveries in accordance with company procedures.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure forklifts and heavy machinery remain in optimal working condition, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Support yard distribution operations by organizing storage areas, stacking pallets safely, and ensuring proper load securing techniques are followed.
- Collaborate with yard supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety protocols, and implement best practices for materials handling.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and operating heavy equipment safely throughout shifts.
- Comfortable working outside in all weather elements.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
