We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young students, fostering their growth, and creating a nurturing environment that supports their learning journey. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, promoting literacy education, and ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of students, ensuring that curriculum standards are met and exceeded.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes child welfare, respect, and empathy.
- Design and deliver engaging literacy education programs, incorporating various teaching methods and strategies.
- Conduct standardized testing to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide individualized support and accommodations for students with special needs, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the necessary support to succeed.
- Utilize your experience working with students to develop personalized learning plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues, keeping them informed about student progress and classroom activities.
- Foster a growth mindset, encouraging students to take risks, make mistakes, and learn from them.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum development initiatives that promote best practices in education.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree/EEC certified in Education or a related field.
- A valid teaching certification or license.
- Proven experience in teaching, preferably in a Preschool & Pre-K Class setting.
- Knowledge of standardized testing and the ability to analyze results.
- Experience working with students with special needs and an understanding of special education best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- A commitment to promoting literacy education and fostering a love of learning in students.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
