Role Overview
- The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for sourcing, engaging and securing the best talent in the fitness industry. This role partners closely with club leaders, District Managers, and support teams to ensure a fully staffed team at each location (currently 88 and growing) and Northeast and Northwest Support Centers with exceptional teammates. Finding the best retail talent and delivering the right people to put forward for assessment. Inspiring candidates with all Core Development and Management/PF has to offer, exciting them about the role, the company and the career opportunities. This position is based in the New England market.
Key Responsibilities
Applicant Tracking Systems Maintenance - Maintain the Applicant tracking system (Paycor)
- User maintenance and training
- System structure based on organization design
- Job openings
- Candidate Pools
- Ensuring all candidates are timely reviewed and categorized
Success Measures:
- All users timely added and removed based on job role
- All hiring Managers trained to review and move candidate through the system
- Manager Satisfaction with Candidate Pool health
Candidate Sourcing and Screening - Finding the best fitness/retail talent and delivering the right people to put forward for hiring manager assessment.
- Source candidates using various means, job fairs, hiring days, job boards, career centers etc.
- Candidate screening to assist hiring managers in narrowing pool to best qualified candidates with attitude alignment
- Review background checks of finalist for compliance to Core Development and Management hiring standards
Success Measures:
- Staffing levels at clubs
- Turnover rates
- Candidate pool viability
Data, Reporting & Operational Insights
- Collect, consolidate, and report on candidate sourcing and hiring stats
- Provide insights and recommendations to Operations Leadership and club leadership based on talent acquisition best practices.
- Monitor trends in sourcing and candidate pools and adjust approaches accordingly
Success Measures:
- Accuracy and Timeliness of Reports
- Adoption by Managers of best practices in hiring process
- Positive Impact on candidate volume and headcount fulfillment
Role Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience with in house talent acquisition
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition for retail/fitness multi unit organizations
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Experience coordinating hiring events
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Passion for hiring exceptional talent
- Experience with data tracking, reporting, or metrics analysis is a plus.
