KBH Consulting is seeking a part-time Social Media Assistant / Content Creator to support content execution, trend-based ideation, and daily platform management across Instagram and TikTok.
I’m looking for a someone who genuinely loves creating for Instagram and TikTok and wants hands-on experience bringing content to life.
This is a great role for someone who:
· Is always saving Reels and TikToks “for inspo”
· Knows what’s trending today (not last month)
· Can design, edit, and package content, not just pitch ideas
Responsibilities
- Spotting daily trends, sounds, formats, and visual styles on IG & TikTok
- Creating content, including: Static graphics (Canva required; Adobe a plus) AND Short-form video for Reels & TikTok (CapCut / Edits)
- Writing captions, hooks, and on-screen text
- Editing and packaging short-form video for platform-native formats
- Helping plan content and brainstorm ideas
- Engaging with followers and responding to comments in an on-brand way
- Scheduling, organizing, and repurposing content across platforms
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with Instagram and TikTok (you use them, not just manage them)
- Confidence creating clean, on-brand visuals in Canva
- Comfortable editing short-form video
- Good writing skills and a strong creative eye
- Reliable, organized, and able to take initiative
- Marketing, communications, or content-related background (degree or equivalent experience)
*Bonus:
- Enjoy filming content (iPhone-level is fine)
- Love pets and the pet industry
- Are based in New England and open to occasional in-person shoots or coffee meetings
Hours: 10–15 hours/week
Rate: $18–$20/hour
Location: Remote, with occasional in-person work (Boston or New England preferred)
