Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team at Raynham Veterinary Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for providing grooming services that enhance the health and appearance of our furry patients. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering outstanding veterinary care.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming for various breeds of pets.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, recommending appropriate treatments as needed.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and aftercare.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to identify any health concerns observed during grooming.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific grooming techniques.
- Excellent animal handling skills and knowledge of animal behavior.
- Strong customer service skills to build relationships with pet owners.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality care.
- Certification in pet grooming or related field is preferred but not required.
