COURSE DEVELOPERS – Nutrition and Food Service Management
School of Health Sciences and Emergency Services (Casual)
Cambrian College’s School of Health Sciences and Emergency Services is seeking casual Course Developers to support the development of teaching and learning materials for the Nutrition and Food Service Management program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Course Development Will Be Required For Courses Such As
- Foundations of Food Service Management
- Food Science
- Food Safety and Sanitization
- Food Production and Modification
- Additional related courses within the program
Working collaboratively with the Academic Chair, Course Developers will prepare course syllabi, learning activities, content modules, assessments, and related materials to support high-quality course delivery.
Qualifications
Required:
- Postsecondary degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in the field.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities and proficiency with common computer software and learning platforms.
- Experience in postsecondary teaching or course development is considered an asset.
Required Information
Additional Assets/Preferred
- Membership with the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM).
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO).
- Food Handlers Certificate.
