Summary
We are seeking a passionate Teacher to join our team at Artisan Childcare Center. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, guiding them through a creative and interactive educational process that promotes both independent and collaborative thinking.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children aged six weeks to six years.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Conduct daily music lessons as part of the curriculum to enhance children's learning experiences.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational approach that integrates artistic programs into daily activities.
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Director 1 certified through the Department of Early Education and Care
- Experience in daycare or early childhood settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to implement creative teaching methods, including Montessori techniques, is a plus.
