We’re hiring a world-class
Instagram Creator – a digital “predator” who can both produce and edit exceptional short-form video content for Instagram. To be wildly successful among your award-winning team members, you will need a sharp eye for design and pacing, and be fluent in Instagram-native tools.
You’ll be handed a gold mine of high quality assets: podcast episodes, interviews, live events, touring footage, vlog moments -- and you'll be expected to turn them into platform-native content that resonates and performs. This role is all about execution. We’re not looking for someone to come in and give us ideas, we’re looking for you to come in and take the extraordinary amount of content we’re creating and translate it to our Instagram audience. If you’re a creator who lives inside Instagram, who instinctively understands what works on the platform, and who can move quickly to turn raw ideas into compelling content — all while adhering to best practices and brand guidelines – we want to meet you.

What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Execution
- Own the creation and editing of Reels, carousels, static posts, Stories and Broadcast Channel content for three Instagram handles with 11 million followers combined, and that are growing at a neck-breaking pace.
- Create and edit short-form video content directly in-app using Reels and Instagram’s native tools — including captions, music, stickers, and overlays — to create scroll-stopping assets.
- Maintain a consistent cadence of Reels publishing; create multiple formats per podcast episode and test headline variations for optimal performance.
- Design engaging photo and graphic driven carousels and visuals tailored to Instagram best practices and audience behaviors.
- Repurpose long-form content into native Instagram formats with creative editing, text overlays, and design chops.
- Bring an editor’s eye to every piece — cutting for attention, energy, pacing, and platform-first consumption.
Trend Spotting & Iteration
- Stay plugged into Instagram’s culture: trending audio, memes, effects, creators, and viral formats.
- Apply insights from data (performance metrics, comments, shares) to guide edits, iterate quickly, and keep content fresh.
- Identify high-performing content and rapidly iterate for continued engagement and growth.
- Suggest content hooks or formats inspired by what’s working on-platform right now — then create them fast.
- Actively stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and viral formats to keep content fresh and impactful.
- Obsess over the audience and use their questions and the topics they are responding to drive content programming.
Collaboration with Marketing & Brand
- Partner closely with social leads, creators producing for other channels and the content team to align your work with the broader content calendar and brand goals.
- Contribute to content brainstorms with a creator’s perspective — what’s visually compelling, technically possible, and likely to perform.
- Uphold brand standards, creative direction and messaging in every asset created.
- Collaborate with podcast, audiobook, touring, PR and marketing teams to create platform-specific content campaigns.
Qualifications
- Impressive experience in social media content creation, short-form video editing, or a related creative field.
- Fluency in Instagram’s native tools (Reels, in-app captions, text overlays, Stories tools, etc)
- Strong video editing skills with an eye for pacing, rhythm, and storytelling. Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effect, and Adobe Suite is required. Experience working in Descript is a major bonus.
- Proficiency in motion graphics, sound design, and light animation to enhance short-form content (e.g., animated text, transitions, overlays)
- A sharp visual sense. Graphic design or motion graphics experience is a major plus.
- Deep knowledge of Instagram algorithm, audience behaviors and high-converting formats.
- Comfort analyzing metrics and pivoting content based on what’s working.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment.
- A strong passion for personal development, storytelling, and inspiring positive change.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working with podcast or influencer content is a strong plus.
- Understanding of cross-functional workflows with social, design, and post-production teams.
- Understanding of basic analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, etc.) to guide creative decisions.
