Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to input, update, and maintain accurate data across our systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter, update, and maintain various types of data into databases and systems with speed and accuracy.
- Verify and correct data where necessary, ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, resolve discrepancies, and report any issues.
- Maintain data confidentiality and comply with company data security protocols.
- Retrieve and organize information for reports, presentations, or audits as requested.
- Assist with generating reports and performing data analysis when required.
- Keep records of completed work and ensure data backups are performed regularly.
- Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth data flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk, typist, or similar position.
- Fast typing skills (e.g., 50+ WPM) and familiarity with data entry tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data management systems.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
