High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency dedicated to treating and preventing substance use disorders and mental illness. With programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, High Point provides a full continuum of care — including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services.

Requirements
- Must present as courteous and professional at all times
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion
- Proficient and knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn including WorxHub
- Must have the ability to work with others in cooperative and collaborative manner
- An understanding of the relationship between substance use and mental health issues and/or self-help programs
- An understanding of boundaries and ethics
- Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Substance Abuse Confidentiality Regulations and HIPAA Regulations
- Certification in the HPAO approved de-escalation program
Duties and Responsibilities
- Adherence to HPAO policies and procedures;
- Conducts daily facility walk-throughs;
- Respond to all maintenance requests;
- Ensure that the facility building, grounds and amenities are maintained in safe and attractive conditions: i.e. Lawn care, parking lot, building entrances, walkways and snow removal;
- Perform minor electric, plumbing, HVAC and building repairs;
- Patch and paint the facility as directed;
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all maintenance, lawn care, housekeeping and floor care equipment;
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all refrigeration units and other electrical appliances;
- Perform minor door alarm and lockset repairs;
- Conduct all delegated scheduled tests and inspections;
- Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings;
- Ensure that all departmental operations are conducted in a professional and productive manner;
- Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual inspections;
- Ensure that all departmental documentation, as required by HPTC/SEMCOA policies and all applicable regulatory bodies (BSAS/DPH, EOHLC, DMH, Joint Commission, Ect.) are accurate and current.
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Director of Environmental Services to ensure the safe and sanitary operation of the facility.
Salary Range: $21 - $25
Any compensation range provided is an estimate based on current market data. The actual offer may fall above or below this range, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and geographic location.
