Northstar Heating and Cooling Corp. is looking for an experienced (Level 2 - Level 5) HVAC Service Technician to join our team and provide exceptional service by maintaining and repairing HVAC systems in customers’ homes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC system issues
- Perform regular maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
- Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC units and components
- Test systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency
- Identify issues, explain findings to customers, and recommend solutions
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
Qualifications
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, ductwork, and ventilation
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Proficient with hand and power tools used in HVAC service and repair
- Knowledge of local codes and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
