Mariner Cafe is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Barista to join our team! Located on Main Street in Hyannis, we are a busy cafe serving coffee, espresso drinks, specialty lattes, breakfast and lunch in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can provide excellent customer service, and is comfortable working as part of a team.
Schedule:
- 32-36 Hours per week.
- Willing to work some weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages.
- Provide friendly and personable customer service.
- Take customer orders and process transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist other team members during busy periods.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a cafe, restaurant, or other customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, personable, and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy cafe environment.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work some weekends.
- ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.
- We are willing to train the right candidate.
