Job Overview:
The Excavation Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in an efficient manner, supervises and troubleshoots all issues that occur on the job site, and ensures safety rules are always followed.
Duties:
- Assist Project Manager with all aspects of assigned projects
- Prepare submittal packages and buyout projects.
- Prepare and Maintain work schedule for clients.
- Material Procurement for crews on a timely basis
- Meet with crew and review project timeline.
- Prepare and negotiate change orders with clients.
- Prepare pencil requisitions and review Division Manager.
- Approve field logs for all assigned projects and submit to payroll using B2W software
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an onsite infrastructure superintendent
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment
- OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with workers on site and report project status and issues that may arise to the job Project Manager, Division Manager and company ownership
- Aptitude in math
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities required in order to respond in a fast paced construction environment
Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures, must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, have a valid driver's license, 3-5 years' experience in a Superintendent role in Public or Private Works, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
