Position Overview
The Vice President of IT Operations leads the global strategy, delivery, and optimization of the company’s IT infrastructure, service management, and operational capabilities. This executive ensures scalable, secure, and reliable systems that support a high‑growth AppSec software environment while partnering closely with Security, Product, Engineering, and business leaders. The role oversees worldwide IT operations teams, driving performance, process maturity, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the global IT Operations strategy in alignment with business growth.
- Develop policies, standards, and KPIs that strengthen operational maturity.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional leadership to drive modernization and digital transformation.
Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
- Oversee global IT infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and resilience through monitoring and capacity planning.
- Partner with Engineering and Security to support application performance, secure configurations, and system hardening.
IT Service Delivery
- Lead global service delivery and service desk teams to meet SLA targets.
- Advance ITIL‑aligned processes for incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
- Improve end‑user experience and drive continuous service improvements.
Team & Organizational Leadership
- Build and lead a high‑performing global IT Operations organization.
- Define roles, development plans, and succession paths for team members.
- Foster collaboration, transparency, and accountability across IT and business units.
Financial & Vendor Management
- Develop and manage the IT operations budget, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality.
- Lead vendor negotiations and manage global supplier performance.
- Oversee IT procurement, asset lifecycle management, and contract governance.
Cybersecurity & Compliance Partnership
- Implement secure operational controls and ensure alignment to enterprise security standards.
- Support risk assessments, audits, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with the Security team on threat monitoring and incident response readiness.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Own operational metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting for executive audiences.
- Analyze trends and recommend improvements to reliability, cost, and service quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive IT operations leadership, including global team management.
- Proven experience overseeing enterprise‑scale hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Strong command of ITIL practices and service management frameworks.
- Demonstrated success improving uptime, service delivery, and operational performance.
- Executive‑level communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience partnering closely with cybersecurity teams on operational controls and compliance.

Pay Range: $206,500 USD - $330,400 USD
