Duties
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of public areas, hallways, and service spaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies, delivering linens, and handling laundry tasks efficiently.
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Ensure all guest corridors, stairwells, and service areas are tidy, organized, and free of hazards.
- Help with janitorial tasks such as waste removal, restroom sanitation, and equipment cleaning to uphold health standards.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and respond promptly to guest requests or special needs.
- Conduct routine inspections to verify cleanliness standards are met across all assigned areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving cleaning equipment.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and supplies used in hotel or commercial settings.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required.
