Position Description:
The HR Assistant will provide support to the Human Resources department by performing administrative duties, assisting with internal audit, and ensuring accurate organization and retention of employee documents. This is a perfect opportunity for recent graduates and students currently pursuing their degree.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain employee files
- Ensure all documents are filed accurately and consistently
- Assist with internal audits, helping verify completeness and compliance of HR records
- Prepare and send files to the document retention company for secure, off-site storage
- Ensure that all retention processes follow company policy and applicable legal guidelines
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
- Support other functions and projects assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
