Business Analyst – Veeva CRM (Life Sciences)

Overview
Osprey is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Veeva CRM expertise to support commercial and medical affairs initiatives within a Life Sciences environment. This individual will act as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and IT, driving requirements, solution design, and delivery of CRM enhancements and implementations.
This role requires a consultative, business-facing BA who understands pharma commercial operations, can translate complex business needs into actionable system requirements, and thrives in regulated, fast-paced biotech environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Field teams to gather and document business and functional requirements
• Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions to define current and future state workflows
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for Veeva CRM enhancements and implementations
• Support configuration and optimization of Veeva CRM including call reporting, account management, territory alignment, events management, and integrations
• Collaborate with IT, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure accurate solution design and execution
• Support CRM data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and KPI development
• Participate in UAT planning and execution, including defect tracking and resolution
• Ensure solutions align with compliance standards including GxP and 21 CFR Part 11
• Contribute to release management, change management, and end-user training documentation
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within Life Sciences
• Hands-on experience supporting Veeva CRM implementations or enhancements
• Strong understanding of pharma commercial processes including HCP engagement, KOL management, and field force operations
• Experience working in regulated GxP environments
• Proven ability to develop clear business, functional, and technical documentation
• Experience supporting UAT and validation activities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Veeva Vault (PromoMats, MedComms, or related modules)
• Salesforce platform knowledge
• Experience supporting Medical Affairs or Commercial Operations teams
• CRM reporting and analytics experience
• Agile or hybrid delivery experience
