This is an Executive Assistant opportunity supporting the President/CEO at a mission-driven Boston-based nonprofit organization focused on economic mobility and poverty alleviation. The role pays $37/hour, follows a 4-day, 32-hour workweek, and is based in the Boston Seaport. Candidates will support senior leadership and Board operations in a fast-paced, impact-oriented environment requiring discretion, strong judgment, and exceptional organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including complex calendar management, meetings, travel, and correspondence
- Manage Board of Directors logistics, materials, minutes, and follow-up actions
- Coordinate Executive Team meetings, retreats, staff meetings, and organizational events
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on executive matters
- Support special projects, executive initiatives, events, and operational policy development
Candidate Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting C-level executives in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism handling sensitive information
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Alignment with mission-driven work; nonprofit or human services experience a plus
