Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Auto Part Sales Manager. The Assistant Auto Part Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the retail sales of auto parts, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Assistant Auto Part Sales Manager will also be responsible for assisting the Auto Part Sales Manager with daily operations, managing inventory, and providing sales support.
Qualifications
- MUST Auto Parts and Sales skills
- Experience in retail sales and customer service
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle difficult customer situations.
- Comfortable utilizing up-sell techniques.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management
- Experience with computer systems and software for inventory management and sales tracking is a plus
- Valid driver license and a clean driving record
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner
- Inspect Auto parts and refer to service history to accurately identify and update price into the system.
- Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding the product and associated service requirements
- Provide accurate cost and time of completion estimates for the services recommended, communicate and get proper authorization from customers
- Check on progress of services throughout the day and contact customer to communicate and receive approval regarding any changes in the cost-estimate, promised time of delivery or recommended services
- Confirm service appointments by telephone the day before the customer is scheduled to arrive and order follow up
- Place Orders with Branch and other outside chosen Vendors
- Arrange drivers and colleagues daily work.
- Process, File and maintain invoices and bill of ladings for incoming parts
