EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
As a Steam Fireperson, you bring precision, focus, and technical expertise to the role, maintaining critical systems with care and consistency. You stay calm under pressure, troubleshoot effectively, and communicate clearly with engineering staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety ensure the reliable operation of complex heating and utility systems that support essential airport infrastructure.What you will do: Operates and monitors boiler systems to ensure safe and efficient performance of the Central Heating Plant.Conducts inspections, cleanings, and assessments to maintain system integrity and identify necessary repairs.Maintains water quality and cooling systems through chemical testing, equipment maintenance, and documentation.Performs hands-on repairs and collaborates with supervisors to address complex issues and maintain operational continuity.
