Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Studio walkthrough and monthly studio maintenance
- Work with the Group Fitness Director and GM to audit studio schedules across all platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Troubleshooting studio technology
- Support club with HWX Staff emergency communication
- Coordinate Check-in attendance for studio classes
- Restore Spa walkthrough, daily testing and troubleshooting, and monthly maintenance/cleaning
- Work with housekeeping to coordinate deep cleans of the studios and the restore spa.
- Daily and weekly admin tasks, not limited to but including, inventory and orders, locker rentals and audits, member feedback, and lost and found.
- Membership Sales Tracker Audits (corporate proof, group, club cash, referral names)
- Support club calls (sales/prospects, member engagement, fitness booking)
- Foster and grow community partnerships and facilitate community events
- Support mentoring, onboarding, scheduling for Member Service Team
- Support membership operations and front of house.
- Support with instructor on-boarding and integration into the club
- Studio weekly class counts/reports
- Running operations of no-show board (1-2 days/week)
- As needed admin responsibilities: For example, monthly updates/special event flyer/communication for in-club (flyers, etc)
- Ensure that all staff members provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
- Oversee daily operations of the club, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve club operations.
- Analyze membership data and generate reports to track membership trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute club events and promotions.
Position Overview
- This position requires a driven and energetic professional with desire to grow career within Healthworks organization
- This position requires a background in group fitness (management or instructor) and a baseline knowledge of pool testing and maintenance.
- Own both studios and the Restore Spa.
- Ensure the club is properly staffed for all promotions, open houses, and operating hours
- In addition, this role will conduct prospect tours, new member sales and onboarding, in-club day-to-day operations management, and assisting the General Manager, and all managers, in various club objectives
- Ongoing management of company-wide standards for key operational membership activities, programs and goals throughout the club
- Ensure club meets all applicable safety protocols
- Routine inspections and maintenance to protect the members and employees of the club
- Ensuring excellence by providing members with exceptional experiences through superior customer service and member support
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to direct reports
- Assists in member billing support with a goal of completing all billing changes with 24 hours of the changes being requests (cancellations, freezes, refunds, home club transfers, etc.)
- Meets budgeted sales goals and contributes to the overall financial success of the club and company by maintaining control over expenses while exceeding revenue targets
- Works in partnership with all members of the Healthworks team and contributes to member recruitment and member retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or management role (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
- Group Fitness Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of pools and pool testing preferred but not required.
