The Town of Mashpee Board of Health welcomes applications for a full
time Administrative Assistant; \$27.98/hour - \$29.69/hour commensurate
With Qualifications & Experience. This Position Works 37.5 Hours/week
from 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Minimum Requirements: High school
diploma or equivalent & at least two years of advanced college level
classes; at least three years of experience in a clerical office setting
performing like or similar work & in providing direct customer service;
experience working in a municipal setting preferred; previous health
department knowledge &/or MUNIS financial software experience strongly

Successfully Pass a Comprehensive Background Check. Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to the department head, other office
professional staff & associated board/committee members. Registers &
collects fees & schedules inspections or meetings; receives, validates,
processes & records applications for Town approval; prepares department
payrolls; maintains department attendance; orders department materials &
supplies; processes expenditures, bills, collects & accounts for program
revenues; oversees & distributes licenses & permits; assists with other
administrative & supervisory responsibilities of the office; serves as
