TRAFFIC OFFICER | CONCORD, MA
The Town of Concord is seeking Traffic Officers to provide traffic control at locations that cannot be covered by Sworn-Officers.
This position requires independence, ability to interact well with the public, and good communication skills. Must possess valid driver’s license.
This is a part-time, limited-status position (less than 20 hours per week). Work is assigned on an as-needed basis, with some periods of no work.
Pay Rate: $50.00 to $70.00 per hour, starting rate dependent on qualifications and experience.
This position is a perpetual opening. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed as staffing needs or vacancies arise.
Appointment of the final candidate will be contingent upon the results of pre-placement conditions including criminal, motor vehicle and credit record checks, a physical exam, and a drug screening. Costs for these pre-placement requirements will be borne by the Town.
