Full Job Description
We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our cold storage warehouse team in Taunton, MA. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse, forklift, and inventory experience who is comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments.
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent hours and growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy
- Prepare, stage, and ship outgoing orders on time
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners or warehouse systems
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Store products correctly in temperature-controlled environments (refrigerated/freezer)
- Follow all safety procedures, especially for cold storage operations
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and efficient
- Communicate effectively with team and supervisors
Requirements
- 1+ year of warehouse or shipping & receiving experience preferred
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems is a plus
- Must be comfortable working in cold/freezer environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good time management and teamwork skills
Schedule
- Full-time
- 2nd Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Consistent schedule with opportunity for overtime
