- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated and human-authored content for grammar, tone, clarity, and consistency
- Identify subtle language issues including awkward phrasing, ambiguity, and stylistic inconsistencies
- Improve readability and flow while preserving the original meaning and intent
- Apply editorial judgment consistently across a wide range of content types
- Provide structured, actionable feedback using clear written notes and rating systems
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Based in the United States
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree or higher in English, Humanities, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong proofreading and copy-editing instincts honed through academic or professional experience
- Exceptional attention to linguistic detail — you notice the errors others miss
- Comfortable evaluating large volumes of written content with consistent quality
- Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to follow detailed style guidelines
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in professional editing, content writing, publishing, or journalism
- Experience working with style guides such as AP, Chicago, or MLA
- Familiarity with content review or annotation workflows
