Title: Jr. Designer
Location: Hybrid onsite, 3 days in Boston (core days: Tues- Thurs)
Duration: 6 months, with possible extension if all goes well

Rate: 33-39/hour W2+, depending on experience
Position Summary:
The Junior Designer supports the development of high-quality creative across digital, print, video, social, and related marketing channels. Working under the direction of the Manager of Design, this role partners with content and channel teams to execute brand-aligned communications with strong conceptual thinking, sound design judgment, and consistent attention to detail.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:- Translate project objectives into thoughtful, effective design solutions that align with brand and communication goals.
- Apply company design standards across digital and print deliverables and communicate creative recommendations clearly and professionally.
- Support multiple projects from concept through final delivery under the guidance of the Manager of Design.
- Contribute to consistent brand execution across channel initiatives and enterprise communications.
- Collaborate with designers and cross-functional partners to ensure work is accurate, on brand, and delivered on time.
- Demonstrate a commitment to design quality by incorporating feedback and applying sound creative judgment and help refine materials based on review outcomes and project learnings.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of company business priorities, audiences, and assigned channel needs.
- Participate in project discussions and reviews, contributing ideas, asking informed questions, and aligning on deliverables and timelines.
- Partner with writers and stakeholders to develop clear, effective creative concepts that support business objectives.
- Stay current on trends in design, marketing, and financial services to inform creative execution.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; familiarity with Figma and standard Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant design experience in an agency or in-house creative environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, layout, and conceptual thinking across relevant media is a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to creative problem-solving and support communication initiatives with thoughtful design execution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry is preferred.
