Position Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be tasked with various tasks including picking, packaging products, and preparing them for shipment, inventory counting, quality control, and operating warehouse material handling equipment. Must have forklift operating experience, reach-truck preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Order picking and packaging
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse facility
- Loading/unloading trailers
- Prepare shipping labels.
- Enter all incoming orders into the computer and RF systems.
- Perform general quality checks.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all incoming and outbound orders.
- Ensure warehouse and shipping areas are clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Forklift operating experience. Reach Truck preferred and certifications a plus
- Familiar with the use of light power tools
- Steel toed shoes or boots required - additional PPE provided
- Ability to effectively lift 50 lbs. continuously throughout the shift.
Schedule & Compensation
- Employment Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
