JOB DESCRIPTION – CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO) - HFC_10401
Our client is an International General Clinic in Ho Chi Minh City, currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will report directly to the CEO.
Working location: Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee, manage, and take full responsibility for all clinic operations, including business performance and internal activities.
1. Business Operations Management
- Lead the planning, strategic direction, and overall development of the Clinic
- Ensure achievement of KPIs related to revenue, profitability, customer base, and service quality in line with the business plan set by the Board of Management
- Manage and coordinate all departments, including health package sales, service delivery, medical records, and administration
2. Recruitment, Management, Training & Development
- Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and motivate team members under supervision
- Monitor, support, and create an enabling environment for staff to maximize performance and achieve organizational goals
- Collaborate in recruitment processes and implement internal training programs to promote company culture and communicate key messages from leadership
3. Reporting & Strategic Advisory
- Provide reports, recommendations, and strategic advice to the Board on business direction, expansion, and revenue growth
- Identify and control operational risks and incidents within the Clinic
- Proactively propose solutions to mitigate risks and ensure operational stability
4. Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the CEO
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of business functions including Finance, Marketing, HR, and Administration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business operations management, with at least 2 years in a similar leadership role within healthcare organizations (hospitals, clinics, etc.)
- Proven ability in strategic planning, organizational structuring, and policy/system development
- Strong capability in planning and executing action plans
- Experience in change management and conflict resolution
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong ability to analyze, evaluate, and understand market dynamics
